Lead KSS into the Future
Keystone Science School is looking for a new Executive Director who will lead the organization into the future. Since 1976 KSS has built a strong and impressive reputation in the community and beyond for providing science based outdoor experiences for school aged children from all walks of life. The mission of Keystone Science School says, “With the outdoors as a backdrop for learning, Keystone Science School inspires curiosity and critical thinking through the lens of science to change lives and strengthen communities.” This mission informs and guides everything the School does and the Executive Director will be expected to steward this direction accordingly.
The Executive Director will provide leadership and direction for all operations at KSS. The successful candidate will be expected to expertly manage earned and contributed revenue, maintain and improve physical assets, nurture the workforce for success, create a positive culture of cooperation, acceptance and inclusion and further the mission for all involved.
Tieken Place at the KSS campus
This position reports to the Board of Directors, oversees a leadership team currently consisting of six senior staff, outdoor education instructors, administrative associates and a seasonal group of employees who manage camp activities. The salary ranges from $150,000 to $190,000 based on experience and skill.
