Have you ever wondered what makes Discovery Overnight Camp so special? We captured some of those magical moments in our latest mission moment video, and it’s all about celebrating the joy, curiosity, and adventure that our campers experience every year.
From the very first day, campers dove into the excitement of exploring the outdoors, learning survival skills, and bonding through unique activities. Whether it was hiking through breathtaking mountain trails, learning about local flora and fauna, or singing by the campfire; camp fosters both independence and collaboration. But what truly shines in this video is how much Discovery Overnight Camp is about discovery in every sense: self-discovery, discovering nature, and discovering the joy of shared experiences.
Why We Made the Video: We made this video to remind ourselves—and our community—why we do what we do. There’s something magical that happens when kids step away from screens and into the wilderness. It’s in those quiet moments when they notice how big the sky really is or when they discover they can climb that peak they thought was too tall. Those are the mission moments we live for, and they’re at the heart of every camp session.
