We are excited to share that we reached more than 8,700 youth and adults in 2018 through our three program areas: School-Based Programs, Camp and Adventure Programs, and Education Programs.

School-Based Programs

2,226 children participated in School-Based Programs in 2018.

We bring science alive for K-12 students by engaging them in informal investigations and research projects that incorporate innovative teaching methods and hands-on activities through programs like Third Grade Mountain Ecology.

The KSS CATCH After School and KSS Summer CATCH Camp programs provide much needed out-of-school care to local students, serving up to 250 students annually.

Camp Summit Middle School (SMS) assists all fifth graders in Summit County to make a successful social and academic transition to middle school.

"Students are more open to meeting new kids and working with peers they do not know. Some kids are more willing to share personal challenges and know SMS can be a safe place."
