Discovery Camp Deluxe
July 22–August 2, 2019
Discovery Camp Deluxe is the only 2-week session of the year. That means that it’s the same as our flagship Discovery Camp with twice the adventure. Campers will go on day hikes, do a backpacking overnight, an all camp car camping and two adventure days where campers will go whitewater rafting, horseback riding, or climbing/zip lining. Campers will also participate in the highlight of the camp summer, the multi-day all camp competition known as CLAW.
If your child requires additional support, contact us at (970)468-2098 before registering.
Camp Legends and Warriors, CLAW, is Keystone Science School’s color war. It is a 2 day competition where the camp is split into four teams and everything done at camp is for points. The intensity and commitment of the campers and counselors is indescribable.
Snake River Village - Rustic Canvas Tents
Get a unique camp experience and stay in one of our authentic canvas wall tents, adjacent to the beautiful Snake River. Our tents are on raised, wooden platforms and each camper gets a cot and room to store their equipment. The tents are a short walk from bathrooms, showers, and have their very own campfire pit. Each tent sleeps five campers and one Counselor Assistant. Two counselors sleep in a tent in the center of each tent village. Campers of any age can choose this option. This is a great opportunity to guarantee that siblings, family members, and good friends can be together in a tent and trail group. Availability is limited – register early! Choose this option during registration.
Residential campers will stay in one of our log-style dormitories, featuring bunk beds, restrooms with showers, and a community space. There are two dormitories, Bighorn Dorm and the Henry Dorm. Both dorms are located right in the center of campus near Rives Dining Hall. Each room sleeps four campers and there are eight rooms in each dorm. Counselors stay in a room off of the community space. Rooms are assigned based on age and grade. We will do our best to accommodate up to two roommate requests per session, but we cannot guarantee roommates.

Spring into Adventure is a great way for our newest campers to get comfortable with Keystone Science School and our returning campers to visit with those friends they haven’t seen since last summer. The weekend program is just like a week-long session condensed into a single weekend. All the camp traditions will be experienced during the weekend-long program including the singing of the most popular camp songs, beads, the PONY talk, and much much more.
