Summer Camp Scholarship

Everyone deserves camp and now more than ever is a time when children need camp. Through generous donations made by individual donors, corporations, and foundations we are able to offer financial aid to those who qualify. While a scholarship is not guaranteed we do our best to accommodate and take into consideration each applying family.

Joel & Patti Meier Scholarship

For middle or high school student from Lake, Park or Summit Counties

Keystone Science School is excited to offer the Joel and Patti Meier Scholarship for any Discovery Adventure or Discovery Expedition. This is an exclusive scholarship opportunity for any rising middle or high school student from Lake, Park or Summit Counties. Several scholarships will be awarded and cover approximately 90% of the tuition costs. Each recipient will be required to contribute $50 of the program's tuition.

Keystone Science School will do their best to accommodate each student's requested session but the scholarship is based on current availability. All applications must be submitted on or before May 11th. Steps & Process

Please complete the online application to be considered for a scholarship. You can also mail or drop off the attached paper application to Keystone Science School. Following the application closing date, our Camp Scholarship committee will review all applications and make recommendations on financial aid awards. Each family will receive notification from Keystone Science School on or before the notification of decision date listed below. Once you receive notification, the KSS Customer Experience team will guide you through the enrollment process.

Scholarship Timeline

Only fully completed applications will be considered for scholarships.

Overnight Camp

  • Application Opens: February 2, 2021
  • Application Closes: March 16, 2021
  • Notification of Decision: April 1, 2021

Day Camp

  • Application Opens: March 16, 2021
  • Application Closes: April 15, 2021
  • Notification of Decision: May 1, 2021

Guidelines

  • Only fully completed applications will be accepted.
  • You will have the opportunity to choose your program preference.
  • Please note that you may not receive your first choice of dates.
