Keystone Science School, in partnership with Summit School District, Breckenridge Grand Vacations, F Cubed Foundation, FIRC, El Polmar, the Town of Silverthorne, Summit County Government, Cycle Effect, Breck CREATE, Summit Climbing Gym, and The Summit Foundation is pleased to offer a full-day Summer CATCH Camp to students, entering grades 1-5, enrolled in one of the 6 Elementary Schools across Summit County.

CATCH stands for Coordinated Approach to Child Health and is designed to promote healthy physical activity and eating behaviors in children. The CATCH curriculum is aimed to equip children with the knowledge and skills to make healthy decisions, all while having fun! Through fun activities and off-site adventures including hiking, swimming, fishing, scavenger hunts, tennis, biking, climbing, archery, team building and more, CATCH Campers will learn as they play, develop new skills, and make friends. A healthy breakfast, lunch, and a snack will be provided daily to campers.

New This Summer!

Summit County students entering 6th or 7th  grade (2018/19 school year) can register to be Summer CATCH Camp Junior Counselors (JC). JCs will interact with campers, help with activities, and serve as leaders and motivators during daily programming. A JC’s camp experience will be different from that of an elementary aged camper and will require a certain level of maturity. All JC’s and their parent(s) must attend a mandatory meeting on Tuesday, May 1st  from 5:30-6:30 pm at Silverthorne Elementary School, where specific these expectations will be addressed.
