CSI: Climate Status Investigations is designed to lead students through an exploration of the many aspects of global climate change. The curriculum uses hands-on inquiry to explore the science of global climate change, the primary sources of greenhouse gases, and potential solutions.
By providing a non-biased scientific framework within which to examine issues around global climate change, the curriculum is intended to improve the decision-making abilities of students. The format allows participants to solve problems in a variety of creative ways based on the evidence and data they have collected. Our curriculum encourages teachers and students to use their knowledge to become active community members, both locally and globally as well as preparing our future leaders for STEM careers that do not exist yet.
