Registration Deadline: Tuesday, March 13, 2018
Program Dates and Time: Friday, March 16th 9:30am-2: 30 pm
Location: EVO3 Workspace, 620 E Main St #6, Frisco, CO 80443

Teachers will learn how to use SketchUp’s 3D modeling software to enhance STEM classroom activities and aid in prototype development. They will see how 3D modeling can be a tool within engineering and design. SketchUp’s new free educational software is cloud-based, making it accessible to almost any classroom with a Google Apps for Education account. Your students will be able to design, test, and collaborate with their classmates using this new software.
In this training, teachers will receive lessons plans which are adaptable for grades 5th and up. Time will be provided for planning purposes so that all teachers are given resources to plan program implementation.
Along with this teacher training, Keystone Science School will also be hosting our Girls in STEM: Build-A-Thon in partnership with SketchUp and the Department of Colorado Parks and Wildlife at the Keystone Science School campus on Saturday, March 17th. The program is grant funded and welcomes any participating female student.
