Join us as we revisit the captivating moments from our Girls in STEM Snow & Avalanche Science program and listen to the reflections of our participants!
Girls in STEM: Snow & Avalanche Science is a short 3 day 2 night program, in partnership with Arapahoe Basin ski area, where participating girls will learn about careers related to snow and avalanche mitigation. This program is open to any female student currently enrolled in 4th-8th grade. Participants will take a trip up to Arapahoe Basin ski area to meet with female ski patrollers and learn how to dig snow pits, use avalanche beacons, and watch a demo of avalanche dogs!
